Junior Country Championships Success

Congratulations to all the players, coaches and team managers on concluding a very successful Junior Country Championships weekend.

With 6 teams representing the Geelong Hockey Association, there was plenty of fun to be had. To also finish with top 4 placings for all 6 teams is an amazing result.

Final results were:

• U14 girls – Gold medal – 6 wins, 0 losses
  
• U16 girls – Silver medal – 4 wins, 1 loss, lost the final on sudden death shootout
  
• U18 girls – 3^rd place – 4 wins, 2 losses
  
• U14 boys – 3^rd place – 4 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss
  
• U16 boys – 4^th place – 2 wins, 1 draw, 3 losses
  
• U18 boys – 3^rd place – 4 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss
