The 2026 Junior State Championships are about to get underway!
Congratulations to the Hockey Geelong athletes who have been selected for the Western Wildcats teams.
- Under 12 Girls – Anina Kelly
- U14 Girls – Keeva Brydon, Audrey Cleeland, Alexandra Collis, Olivia Cromb, Maggie Shearer
- U16 Girls – Grace Harper, Frankie Maloney, Jessica Richens, Pollyanna Smith
- U12 Boys – Joey Batchelor, Henry Collis, Jude Shrimpton, Lucas Young, Will Griffin, Charlie Meurs, Darcy Condon, Oswald Hogan
- U14 Boys – Jack Francis, Ved Shetty
- U16 Boys – Owen Bourne. Will Burch, Liam Dargue, Jacob Dargue, Markus Kelly, Frederick Milne, Zac Wingert, Jacob Young
The Under 12s will take place on the 1st and 3rd July at Footscray Hockey Centre, followed by the Under 14s and Under 16s from 3rd and 5th July at both Footscray Hockey Centre and State Netball Hockey Centre.
It will see over 800 junior players participating from the nine-zone statewide, as well as over 300 team staff and officials. This makes it one of the largest hockey events in the country.

The U18 Junior State Championships will run from September 19 to 21, 2026.
