Saturday May 17 will provide the opportunity to watch some top class hockey at Stead Park.
Altona Hockey Club are in the middle of constructing a new pavilion so their home games against Waverley Hockey Club have been rescheduled to Stead Park.
The fixtures are as follows:
- 12.30 pm – Premier League Reserve Women – Altona vs Waverley
- 2.00 pm – Premier League Women – Altona vs Waveryley
- 3.30 pm – Premier League Men – Altona vs Waverley. This is a battle between the third and fourth placed teams in PL so we can look forward to a fantastic game.
- 5.00 pm – Premier League Reserve Men – Altona vs Waverley
The Altona teams will include a number of players who began their hockey in Geelong so there will be lots of local interest. And to add to the interest, Altona player Cooper Burns has just been named in the Kookaburras team to play in the next FIH Pro-League games in Europe and the UK.
