Umpiring:

We are seeking umpires from within the Hockey Geelong community who are looking to be assessed, coached towards either their Community or Level 1 Umpire accreditation. This is an opportunity to complete all necessary steps in the accreditation process. If you are seeking your Community or Level 1 please ensure you have completed all online components prior to the tournament, this makes the alignment of practcials and Theory much easier for processing. Also if you are seeking to attain your Level 1 Umpire Coach accreditation this is the best time.

The umpire programs will run over the weekend with both theory and practical assessments. It is part of the tournament structure so no additional fee is applicable, just the normal Hockey Australia HockeyEd fee of $40.

Registration forms are available here – https://www.jotform.com/61458475425967. In the first instance please contact Charlie to ensure all necessary materials are available for the course. Changes in the requirements for the L1 UC apply. Must hold a current L1 Umpire and have several years experience as an umpire plus a brief written history of your umpire history for recognition of prior experience.

Please contact Charlie Martin Tournament Director – either by phone 0418374839 or email [email protected]
