Geelong Hockey Association Annual General Meeting 2023

Affiliate nominees and interested persons are invited to attend the 2023 Annual General Meeting of the Geelong Hockey Association, to be held at Stead Park, Corio at 7.00 pm on Wednesday November 29, 2023.  The Annual Report will be presented, detailing the activities of the Association for the 2022/2023 year.

Affiliate nominees are entitled to vote on behalf of their clubs. Other attendees are welcome to attend and to speak but do not have voting rights.

The AGM will be followed by a General Meeting, which provides the opportunity for all attendees to ask questions and provide suggestions for improvements for the next year.

Appointment of affiliate nominee

Affiliates (clubs) are required to appoint a nominee who carries the votes of their respective Club or, in the case of KIC, school. Only one person is appointed for this role. They vote on matters including adoption of reports and election of committee persons. Life Members do not vote.

Each affiliate (club/school) has one vote under the rule changes made at the Special General Meeting held on September 25th.

Committee Nomination Form

The affiliate (Club/school) can nominate persons for Executive Committee positions. One form should be completed for each person being nominated. Each person can submit nominations for multiple positions on the same form.

Proxy Form

If the club nominee is unavailable on the night of the meeting, a Proxy form should be completed and returned prior to the meeting.

All affiliate nominee appointment forms and Committee Nomination forms should be submitted by FRIDAY NOVEMBER 17th 2023 to admin@hockeygeelong.asn.au
