After scouting the state, Hockey Victoria is very excited to announce the Walters family as the #1 Hockey Family in Victoria!
The Walters family have been involved in hockey for over 30 years with the Geelong, Corio and Saints Hockey Clubs. There is a family member in each team they are involved in, either playing, coaching or officiating.
Lisa Walters, who submitted the winning entry on behalf of her family, says hockey brings a lot of happiness into their world.
“When people think of our family, they think of how supportive we all are for each other and what we all have to offer the hockey community.”
The Walters family will now officially be the “face of hockey” for 2015, with their first photo shoot coming up. The family will appear on a billboard in Geelong promoting G.J. Gardner Homes and hockey over the coming month.
