The Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Carnival on March 25 saw 43 girls register to have some fun with hockey. The girls, aged 7 to 12, started the day by learning some skills from Victorian Vipers players, Olivia Colasurdo and Sophie Taylor.
A break for morning tea provided the energy to continue on and play some great hockey, with 6 teams participating in a series of mini-games. For many of the girls, playing on the synthetic surface was a new experience, with the game played at a faster pace and with great skills on display.

New Competition Starting
Clubs are invited to enter teams for the 2018 U10 Girls Only competition, commencing on April 23. Games will be played each Monday at 5.30 pm at Stead Park, with teams of 7 players and matches in the half-field format.
