Junior Country Championships 2018
Hockey Geelong is seeking players to enter teams into Junior Country Championships – to be played Saturday, May 19 and Sunday, May 20.
There is no junior local competition fixtured for this weekend.
Age-Groups:
• Under 17 Girls & Boys (Born on or after 1 January 2001) – Venue: State Netball Hockey Centre
• Under 15 Boys & Girls (Born on or after 1 January 2003) – Venue: Greensborough Hockey Centre
• Under 13 Boys & Girls (Born on or after 1 January 2005) – Venue: Essendon Hockey Centre
Please note:
Teams are strictly Boys or Girls – not mixed; there is no opportunity for girls to play in the boys’ competition.
The Junior Country Championships are in no way linked to the Victorian Junior State Champs
Umpiring Opportunities:
The JCC is an opportunity for umpire development and players may also nominate to umpire. Payment is $15 per game.
Hockey Victoria will be supporting this development by providing Qualified Umpire Coaches and feedback throughout the championship.
