Nominations are open for the School Sport Victoria 12 & Under teams, 16 & Under hockey teams and Umpires. The selected teams will participate in the School Sport Australia Hockey Championships:
- 12 Years and Under Boys
- Dates: 16/8-21/8/20
- Venue: National Hockey Centre, Canberra ACT
- 12 Years and Under Girls
- Dates: 16/8-21/8/20
- Venue: National Hockey Centre, Canberra ACT
- 16 Years and Under Boys
- Dates: 1/8-8/8/20
- Venue: Tasmanian Hockey Centre, Hobart TAS
- 16 years and Under Girls
- Dates: 1/8-8/8/20
- Venue: Tasmanian Hockey Centre, Hobart TAS
These championships offer gifted and talented students the opportunity to participate in higher levels of sporting competition against students from other Australian States and Territories.
Participation in a School Sport Victoria Team Vic state team is self funded. As a guide it may cost between $1,500-$2,500 to participate. Costs may include uniforms, host state levies, flights, transport, accommodation and meals. Costs will vary depending on the location of the Championship.
