The disruption of the 2020 hockey season due to the COVID-19 pandemic provides the opportunity to consider the conduct of future hockey competitions across Victoria. Should competitions run as they always have, or do we consider new formats?
As there is no guarantee that similar disruptions will not occur again at some point, Hockey Victoria are seeking the views of members to help in planning the 2021 season. Representatives of metropolitan clubs and regional associations have been in discussion with Hockey Victoria during the pandemic to craft the best response in the conditions at the time.
