Applications for 2021 coaching positions for the Hockey Geelong Sharks men’s and women’s teams are now open.
Hockey Geelong Sharks are a representative team, made up of players mainly from the Geelong region, representing the Geelong Hockey Association in the Hockey Victoria metropolitan competition. The HG Sharks currently field teams in both Men’s and Women’s Vic League 1 and Vic League 1 Reserves competitions.
The teams are looking for motivated coaches to join the 2021 journey.
The 2020 season promised good things but was derailed by the COVID pandemic, and the teams were not able to play at all. This has left them very keen to show what they can do in 2021.
Our Women’s teams are coming off a couple of challenging years playing at the Premier League level, and are keen to prove that they deserve to be playing in Premier League again.
While our Men’s squad have a point to prove, after being minor premiers in 2019, we are determined to better ourselves in 2021! The squad has a mix of experience and youth with the collective aim of getting promotion to Premier League.
Applications should be submitted by November 1, 2020.
