Get Active Kids Vouchers

We want lots of kids to play hockey, but sometimes cost can be a barrier.

The Victorian Government is again offering Get Active Kids Vouchers, which provide up to $200 per child to cover sports club registration, membership fees, equipment and uniform. This allows families to apply for vouchers and use them at their registered Get Active Kids Voucher Activity Provider without having to pay the costs upfront.

The scheme is open to players aged 18 and under where the family has a Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card. The scheme also provides support for children residing in Victorian Care Services, temporary or provisional visa holders, undocumented migrants and international students up to 18 years at the time of application.

Applications for this round close at 5pm on 10 May 2023. Families can also claim reimbursement for expenses already incurred from 28 November 2022 to 10 May 2023.

Clubs, associations and organisations can register as a Get Active Kids Voucher activity provider and then redeem the voucher from the Government. To be eligible they must be affiliated with a recognised State Sporting Association or equivalent governing body.
