Hockey Victoria has a Regional Development Manager in Jason La Rocca, who attended a meeting at Stead Park on Wednesday 8 May.
Jason wanted to hear how HV may be of support going forward. It is a fee for service model and in response to state wide decline in volunteers. We in Geelong are fortunate to have a good number of volunteers and we thank you all.
Many ideas were raised at the meeting and now we need to gather them together. These ideas will form our response to their EOI.
All clubs are requested to send their expressions of interest (EOI) to the association Secretary by Friday 17 May. Once received they shall be collated and sent to Hockey Victoria.
As this is a fee for service the executive is very mindful of keeping hockey affordable for all.
