Hockey Geelong is thrilled to hear that Tammy Hansford was recently presented with the prestigious Widmer Award and named as “Coach of the Year” at the Ballarat Sportsperson of the Year Gala Dinner and Awards Night.
Tammy has been involved with hockey for many years, and more recently in Geelong as coach of the 2024 Hockey Geelong Sharks women’s team. While Tammy is not coaching a Sharks team this year, she will still lend her expertise and experience to assist the Sharks Under 16 Girls team.
