On Sunday, 23rd February, Corio Hockey Club proudly launched its Junior Enrolment campaign with our first Family Day event for the year. The day was a tremendous success, bringing together senior players, their families, and new families to kick off the 2025 season. This event was further enriched by the integration of the Kardinia Hockey programme with the launch of the Corio Hockey Club junior programme.
Corio Hockey Club takes pride in being a family-oriented club, and it was fantastic to meet so many new families who share a passion for hockey and see it as a wonderful sport for all ages. It was also great to see some of Corio Hockey Club’s life members, Graeme, Nette, and Peter, enjoying the day, and we thank them for their ongoing support.
The day was filled with fun activities, including a BBQ, fairy floss, popcorn, a bouncing castle, and hockey games organised by George, Emmaline, and some of our junior coaches on Pitch 1. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Gillian, Chris and Kane for their invaluable support in launching our junior programme, as well as to our dedicated committee members Jackson, Abby, Dan, John, Brian, George, Emmaline, Simon, and Ian for their efforts in making the day a success.
