Geelong community invited to hear about Stead Park hockey facility upgrades
The Geelong community is invited to learn more about exciting upgrades to the Stead Park hockey facilities being delivered as part of the Victorian Government’s Regional Sports Infrastructure Program.
Two information sessions are scheduled for the community to hear about the upgrades and ask the project team any questions they may have about the project.
The sessions will also give community members a chance to see artist impressions of the design which includes a new main pavilion, a redeveloped western pitch, and additional seating.
The project is being delivered in partnership with Sport and Recreation Victoria and has involved close collaboration with the City of Greater Geelong, Geelong Hockey Association and Hockey Victoria to ensure these upgrades deliver positive outcomes for local hockey enthusiasts, and the broader community.
The upcoming community information sessions include an online webinar and a drop-in session where community members can chat with the project team and ask any questions they may have about the designs and delivery approach.
