59 children took part in the holiday clinic on July 15. They not only came from Newtown, Saints, Corio and Geelong but also from Corangamite, Ballarat, Footscray and Warrnambool.
We were lucky to have a great group of coaches, headed up by our Junior development co-ordinator Nic Brydon and local superstar Kade Leigh, who is a current member of the Burras, the Australian U21 team.
Senior Sharks players made up the rest of the coaching crew – thanks to Archie, Josh, Lily B, Baino, Charlotte C, Grace M and Jess C. Goal keepers were put through their paces by Craig Williams who really worked them hard! All young players enjoyed being challenged by the activities and learned new skills along the way.
