Hockey Geelong will be exiting from our Stead Park pavilion slightly earlier than anticipated and will now be vacating by Wednesday 13 August.
As a result Stead Park will be operating using temporary facilities from the 14 August through to the project completion date of 30 September. These temporary facilities will include toilets and first-aid but not changing rooms.
The early vacate date will enable smooth delivery of the project, best outcomes for the new precinct and ensure the completion date of 30 September is achieved.
For catering we are looking at securing food vans to be on-site for the local Grand Final day. We are yet to decide what options may be available on the days before and after this date. There is an opportunity for a club to offer a bbq, keeping the profits on any of these days.
We are hoping to provide shelter with marquees. Please contact us if you or your club are able to assist.
We still have use of pitch 2 and entry will be via the back of the dug out. Parking will be on the grass area, with entry via Station Street.
