The Hockey Geelong Festival of Hockey is being planned to celebrate the completion of the new facilities at Stead Park, and will run from Friday 23 October to Sunday 25 October. Thanks to those who are involved in the organising sub-committee.
Friday Evening – Social Gathering
On Friday evening there will be a social evening in our new facility for all past and current players, coaches, umpires, parents and families. Upon arrival you will receive two free drink vouchers and after that you are free to purchase more drinks from the bar. Hockey Geelong will provide finger food. More information will follow.
Saturday and Sunday – Hockey
Saturday and Sunday will host a series of games that are being planned at present. We look forward to seeing plenty of hockey action across the weekend.
Saturday Evening – Celebration Dinner
The Celebration Dinner is on Saturday evening from 7.00pm and is proudly sponsored by Tiger Turf, which is a wonderful gesture on their behalf. Hockey Geelong have sent 40 invitations to sponsors, life members and those who have played an important role in providing our new facility.
Hockey Geelong is offering a table of ten for each of our six clubs and we ask clubs to recommend who you wish to attend. This should bring us close to our maximum number allowed. The dinner is complimentary and drinks are at bar prices. We ask guests to wear neat casual attire. Closer to the weekend Hockey Geelong will be asking for names for the club tables.
