U10 Competition Premiers
Congratulations to the Premiers and Runners Up of the U10 Stead Park and U10 Lloyd Reserve competitions for 2026.
- U10 Stead Park – Premiers Newtown Strikers, Runners Up Newtown Spirit
- U10 Lloyd Reserve – Premiers Newtown Rockets, Runners Up Newtown Dynamos

- 8.00 amย U12 – Corio vs Newtown Strikers
- 9.20 am U10 Premiers vs Runners Up Demonstration matches – Newtown Strikers vs Newtown Spirit, Newtown Rockets vs Newtown Dynamos
- 10.00 am U14 – Newtown Strikers vs Corio
- 11.20 am D2 Men – Torquay vs Torquay Thunder
- 1.15 pm D2 Women – Torquay Tornadoes vs Saints Red
- 3.10 pm D1 Women – Torquay vs Newtown Falcons
- 5.05 pm D1 Men – Torquay vs Newtown Rebels
Important information:
- Parking – there is very limited parking in John St near pitch 1 so it is best to enter via Station St and park on the grass on the other side of pitch 2.
- Toilets are operational at the South (City end) – both portaloos and also 4 others on the elevated platform. Volunteers will be maintaining the toilets but if there is an issue please let Nette Williams or a member of the committee know.
- Water tap is in the corner where it has been – unless the new taps have been fitted this week behind the dugouts?
- Ice is only available from the freezer in the Tech bench.
- Food vans and drinks
* HG canteen will be serving soft drinks, water and packaged food (chips, chocolate bars etc)
* Blackmans Brewery van will be serving alcohol (the normal range HG supplies from the canteen)
* Saints Hockey Club are operating the BBQ – egg and bacon rolls 8.30am to 12 noon. Sausage sizzle 11am to 4pm - Individual food vans on site include
* Coffee
* Dumpling
* Potatoes
* Ice cream - Trophy presentations
These will take place off the pitch to enable the next teams to warm up. Teams are asked to leave the dugouts quickly after the game and assemble at the presentation area. There will be a marquee set up near the “yellow” pathway for trophy presentations etc.
