On Friday 24th October we held a children’s workshop at Stead Park. The purpose was to involve our children in the design of the vinyl wraps for the outside poles and for the frosted glass on the exterior of the board room.
Eight children joined Development Victoria to workshop various ideas. One interesting aspect was when the children were asked to describe Stead Park and Hockey. The responses were along the lines of “feeling safe”, “having fun” and “enjoying playing hockey with their friends”. All great feedback.
I wish to thank the families for bringing their children on the day and for the various people who travelled from Melbourne for the workshop.
There will be a follow-up workshop in two or three weeks.
