As we will not have the use of our current pavilion for the Semi-Finals and Grand Finals on August 15 and 22, we are hoping to borrow some marquees to provide extra shelter and amenities.
Any type of marquee is welcome but those with walls are especially appreciated, to be placed along the fence lines. Help will be needed to erect the marquees each day and to pull them down at the end of play. Marquees can then be stored in the shipping containers which will be placed at Stead Park for storing club and Association equipment.
Thanks to these people/ clubs who have offered their marquees – Newtown (2), Hockey Geelong (2), Nette Williams (1), Leanne Basham (1). Saints Hockey Club will be running a BBQ on Grand Final day and will provide their own for that.
