Each year approximately 40 hockey players from Geelong clubs play for the 6 Wildcats Zone teams that play in the Victorian Junior State Championships in the July School holidays.
And each year, Head and Assistant Coaches are required for the 12 teams – (U13, U15, U18 – boys and girls teams).
Hockey Victoria is asking Geelong clubs to lift their coaching quota – we’ve lagged behind with providing our fair share of Zone team coaching staff – compared to the numbers of our players we provide.
If you are an U18 player who would like to nominate to coach an U13 team, then this may be able to be accommodated.
