The 2023 hockey season is nearing its conclusion, with the last round of home and away matches completed.
U10 Premiers
The Geelong Hockey Association U10 competition does not include finals. Instead the Premiership in the competition is awarded to the team which finishes on top of the ladder at the end of the home and away matches.
Congratulations to Torquay who have had a fantastic season going through undefeated, and with a massive 91 goals scored by the team, claiming a well deserved Premiership.
Well done to Newtown Strikers who have improved as the season progressed to claim the Runners Up position.
Finals Series for 2023
The Finals Series begins with the Semi-Finals on August 26 and 27. The limited number of teams entered in the various competitions this year means that most teams are participating in the Semi-Finals, so anything could happen in this first round as teams have honed their game plans in the last matches.

Canteen commitments
Teams which are playing on pitch 1 are asked to supply 1 person to assist in the canteen – junior teams during their game, senior teams for the next game.
