The Australian Institute of Criminology’s National Homicide Monitoring Program has found 34 women were killed by an intimate partner in 2022-23, an increase of 28 per cent on the previous year. (Statement from the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet).

 

As a mark of respect for those impacted by Domestic Violence, all teams will observe a minute’s silence before the commencement of senior matches on Saturday May 4 and Sunday May 5.
