School Holiday Skills Program

Skills program for holiday clinics 2024 – July 2 & 3, 2024 at Stead Park, Corio

Cost:  $80 per day, or $140 for both days

Members of the Geelong Hockey Association are invited to register for this Junior skills program, provided by the Hockey Geelong Sharks.

• The sessions are open to all junior age groups and all ability levels.  We will sort them into appropriate groups once we have registrations.
• These sessions aim to continue the work of club coaches in ‘building the base of the pyramid’ with our junior players, thus continuing to build the strength of our junior competition.
• The coaches will be talented and dynamic players from the Senior Sharks teams with each ability group receiving coaching from the person most suited to their age and ability.
• Parents can register their child or children for 1 or both days.
  

Program:  25 minute sessions with a 5 minute drink break between sessions.

• 10.00 start
• 10.00 – 10.10 – registration and welcome, including rules and guidelines.
• 10.10 – 10.30 – warm-up activities
• 10.30 – 11.00 – session 1
• 11.00 – 11.30 – session 2
• 11.30 – 12.00 – session 3 – half field games
• 12.00 – 12.30 – lunch break (provide own lunch)
• 12.30 – 1.00 – session 4
• 1.00 – 1.30 – session 5
• 1.30 – 2.00 – session 6
• 2.00 – 2.30 – full field games
• Pick up 2.30pm
