Roadshow Coach Workshop

The Geelong Hockey Association Roadshows and Sporting Schools program aims to attract new members, particularly junior players, to the sport and to the Association.  The Roadshows program for 2022 will begin on February 14 in the Torquay area.

Volunteer coaches are wanted, with reimbursement available. Volunteer coaches are encouraged to register for the Roadshow Coach workshop at Stead Park, from 4 to 6 pm on Sunday February 13.

If you are not able to attend, online training may be made available.

Safe Hockey in Schools – Online Training

Hockey Victoria have provided an online training program which covers everything from what to do at the start of a school day, equipment safety, child safety and reporting practices. The training itself only takes maximum 10 minutes to complete.

To ensure that the sport of Hockey is safe throughout our Roadshow period, all Clubs & Associations are asked to complete this online training before entering schools.
