Players are wanted for Hockey Geelong U13 girls, U18 boys and U18 girls teams for the Victorian Junior Country Championships. The Championships are on May 20 & 21 at Essendon, Greensborough and Parkville. There is no GHA local U14 or U17 club hockey scheduled in Geelong on the JCC weekend.
The Junior Country Championships are organised by Hockey Victoria to showcase regional Victoria’s most talented junior players. Hockey Geelong teams will play in a round robin style event against teams from other Victorian Regional associations with approximately 5 or 6 matches over the weekend, including pool matches, finals and minor placing matches.
The Under 13 Boys, Under 15 Girls and Under 15 Boys teams are mostly filled, but please feel welcome to nominate for these teams, in case a place becomes available due to illness, etc.
