In the next few weeks the games on a Saturday at Stead Park on the Lynette Williams Pitch 2 shall be live streamed. This is due to Hockey Victoria striking a deal with an outside organisation to stream all games from clubs who have a Premier League side.
This service is not costing Hockey Geelong and we thank Hockey Victoria for their vision in broadening the appeal of our game. The hold up has been connecting the NBN to Stead Park.
The streaming will be for local and representative games, juniors and seniors. The camera is to be fixed to the central light pole on this pitch. Access is via an optional paid subscription for one month to a year. The year is calculated on the calendar so you may watch games from the past season right
up to the end of the year.
We encourage people to subscribe and show that we in Geelong value our hockey.
The camera will not be able to identify individual players and if there are any concerns in this area then please see Graeme Dent. We shall publish more details as they come to hand.
Thank you
Graeme Dent
President
