Hockey Geelong were thrilled to have received a visit from two of our councillors in Eddy Kontelj and Anthony Aitken, our local member, to our Junior Grand Finals on Saturday 30th August. They were very interested to see the games, and to meet our players and have their photo taken with some of them.
There was great interest and discussion with the redevelopment of Stead Park and future opportunities. They have committed to supporting us in partnership to seek national and state tournaments.
The sport of hockey is expanding and we are thrilled to have the solid and ongoing support of the City of Greater Geelong Council.
