Thanks to the students and staff at Fyans Park Primary School for their enthusiastic participation in the first two days of the 2026 Hockey Roadshows.
We enjoyed showing the skills of hockey to 9 classes (over 200 students) and think we have discovered some future hockey stars. Not sure how the cow will go though!
Thanks to Rachel Moon and Hockey Victoria for their support for this very important program as we try to ‘Grow Our Game’. We look forward to seeing some of the same smiling faces at the Hookin2Hockey programs which begin on March 3 and 4.
We will be visiting another 18 local primary schools during Term 1 to give the children the chance to try hockey and learn some basic skills. These visits will include over 80 classes and 1700 more students.
If your school would like to host a FREE Hockey Roadshow, please contact claire.barnes@hockeygeelong.asn.au and we will be happy to organise it. We have some spaces left in Term 1 or can provide sessions in any of the school terms, to suit the school schedule.
