We were very pleased to have the Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles MP visit the Geelong Hockey Centre today to inspect our impressive new facilities.
Mr Marles spent some time looking at the pitch and pavilion, learning about the history of hockey in Geelong and the current scope and depth of our hockey community.
Thanks to Mr Marles and his staff and the staff of the City of Greater Geelong, Development Victoria and fairbrother_construction for their presence and support.
Graeme Dent, President of Hockey Geelong, unfortunately had commitments elsewhere for the day and was unable to be present.
