Registrations are now open for both U12 Girls and Boys hockey players to trial for the upcoming Hockey Championships.
The School Sport Victoria (SSV) Hockey Championships are the state representative pathway, with selected players progressing through trials to form the final Victorian teams. These teams then compete at the School Sport Australia Championships in Newcastle, NSW. The tournament is a week-long national competition in October featuring other state teams from across Australia.
Players who are selected for their state will attend squad training before travelling to Newcastle to represent Victoria at a national level. Please read the linked information carefully, as trialing, associated costs, and training commitments are outlined in the pages linked below. We encourage Victorian U12 players to consider trialing for this wonderful opportunity. Having them involved in trials or the competition will also reflect very nicely on your club or association!
