Hockey Geelong recently held a Level 2 First Aid certification course on 20th February, with Leanne BashamβHockey Geelong Life Member, Nurse Practitioner, and owner of Training2Fitβleading the session.
Eighteen participants from local clubs took part in practical training on CPR, using EpiPens and asthma pumps, applying slings, and safely moving a patient on a stretcher. Leanne also covered real-life scenarios First Aiders may face on and off the hockey field.
