Membership of the Geelong Hockey Association was at its highest level in 2016, with 1248 members. Membership has dropped since then, with COVID having a major impact. Current membership at the end of the 2024 winter season was 748.
Project 1200 aims to recruit more people to participate in hockey and reach 1200 members again. The planned facility improvements at Stead Park and Torquay will provide the opportunity for more people to be involved, whether as a player, coach, team manager, umpire or technical official.
We have programs for people aged 3 to 65+ and everyone is welcome.
