Fantastic Festival of Sport!

The Festival of Sport at Kardinia Park on Friday March 6 was a fantastic event for people in the Geelong community, with a wide variety of sports to try.

Our hockey activity was visited by lots of children and adults, of all ages and sizes, and they were all keen to ‘have a go at hockey’! They particularly enjoyed scoring a goal past goalkeeper Antony Hockey when he ‘accidentally’ let one in!

Thanks to everyone involved for the excellent approach to the participants and the positive interactions which occurred, making it great fun for everyone.

We hope to see many of these children coming to our Hookin2Hockey programs and joining a team for the 2026 season.
