Hockey Victoria successfully tendered for and received a grant of $450,000 for the development of umpiring and coaching throughout regional Victoria.
Part of that process was for Hockey Geelong to advertise and appoint one person for the umpiring role and another for the coaching one.
It is with excitement that we are able to announce John Larkins as the Association Umpire Developer. He is well known around Geelong for umpiring and has enthusiasm to develop this area. John’s role is to work with the South West Regional Developer in Samantha Giorlando to develop umpiring within the Greater Geelong region.
The Association Coach Developer is Tom Griffin and he brings a great deal of experience to this role. Tom will be working with the South West Regional Developer in Paul Schram. Again the role is to develop the coaching within the Greater Geelong Region.
