Hockey Roadshows In Schools

February 21, 2020

The drive to recruit new players for local clubs and for the Geelong Hockey Association has begun well.

Geelong Hockey Club recently kicked off their efforts with the help of Hockey Victoria and Geelong Hockey Association members, with a two week program of hockey lessons conducted at Manifold Heights Primary School, funded by the Sporting Schools program. Each child was invited to follow up this hockey experience by attending a Hookin2Hockey program to learn more about the game of hockey and the skills involved.

Hookin2Hockey is ideal for children aged 5 to 12 who have not played hockey before, but would like to try out this fantastic sport.
