The 2022/2023 Summer Hockey competitions will begin on Monday October 10, with the U8 and U10 teams leading the way.
It is very pleasing to see that we currently have 44 teams entered across all the divisions and all the competitions. This is a 15% increase on the 38 teams which participated in the 2021/2022 summer competition. And it may increase further as we are still receiving enquiries from new players.
We have competitions available for all ages from 5 to 35+, and there is always room for more players. We are especially in need of more players for the Under 8 competition, so if you know anyone who might be interested please let them know we would love to have them join us. If you think you would like to have a go at hockey, get in touch with us or with your local club.
Competition Convenors
Volunteers are required to act as convenor/ co-ordinator for the Senior, Masters and Friday Family competitions.The fixtures and umpires rosters will all be done already, so it’s really just a matter of ensuring that things run smoothly and answering any questions. If you or anyone you know are able to help, please let us know.
