Indoor hockey returned to Geelong this week, with a Hockey Geelong Sharks junior team training at the BVAC facility.
The team is training in the lead up to the Hockey Victoria Junior Indoor Challenge later in March. Good luck to the team. We’re sure you will make Geelong proud!
While there are lots of Geelong players who have played indoor hockey for Melbourne based clubs in recent years, it’s been quite a few years since there was an indoor hockey competition run in Geelong for the Geelong Hockey Association. Maybe this is the start of a new avenue of participation, and a way to get more people involved in hockey outside of the traditional weekend competitions.
