The 2023/2024 summer hockey season begins on October 17, with 44 teams entered across all the competitions.
There is a team for everyone, so come and join us. Summer hockey has a very social focus, so it’s the ideal time to try the game for the first time, or to get back on the field if you are a superstar of the past.
Whether you are aged 5 or 65+, we would love to have you playing our game.
Games are half field, so there’s less running, with 7 players per team. The Hockey Victoria Summer Levy is a reduced fee, which helps to keep the overall cost down. There’s no training, and relaxed uniform requirements often mean it is something you might have in your cupboard anyway.
The Friday Family competition has junior, senior and beginners or ex-players all playing in the same team, so it’s a great way to have some fun with the whole family.
New players are able to ‘Come and Try’ before being required to pay the Hockey Victoria fee, so why not give it a go. We are especially keen to welcome some new members/ teams in the Under 10 and Friday Family competitions.
